Our Registry!

We’ve had lots of people ask us about our registry. It’s been complicated, since the majority of our families and friends are spread over two continents. We would like people to pay the least on shipping possible and have an easy time of this, so here’s what we’ve decided to do: we’re techy people so we’ve been working on one easy universal webpage where everyone can go and see what we think we would like.

You can sort the list by retailers and shop away. If you find any of these things for a better deal in a store or on an alternate website, go for it! All we ask is that when you purchase or even view an item, in order to prevent doubling up on items, you fill in the GiftRegistry360.com popup like so:

The Bay is a Canadian-based retail store (comparable to Macy’s) so shipping will be domestic for these items. The same holds true for Costco.ca, Llbean.com and Sears.ca.

Canada-Friendly Brands

We really like Crate & Barrel, which we’ve found will ship to Canada from their web site. For Pottery Barn and Williams-Sonoma you will have to call a Canadian-based store (numbers on their store locator pages). Oh, and you also might be able to save on Crate & Barrel shipping if you call one of their Canadian stores and order the item via phone .

Maria also has a soft spot for Anthropologie…but international shipping costs an arm and a leg, so if you are coming to our wedding, feel free to stop by one of their stores and pick something up. If you prefer ordering online, you could always ship it to my parents and they may be so kind as to pack it in their suitcases for us, or we can pick it up when we next visit them. πŸ™‚

Also, for Summersiders, we will also be putting a registry together at Crockett’s Quality Jewellers.

We will be completing the registry bit by bit, but we will let you know by blog or wordpress when that happens!

Thank you all in advance!

– Maria and Brendon

That’s AWESOME! Maria, you have such good taste – we LOVE Anthropologie!!!! LOL!!!!! I would be in there buying stuff daily if I could (as would Thomas, we confess!!) We will take a look at your registries! Another really helpful one for us for basic stuff was Bed Bath and Beyond thanks to good policies on pretty much everything, cross border stuff and returns and all that. UPS had delivered half our dishes broken, so we took them into the store and it was like the easiest thing to just switch them out! Anyway, just an idea, not to add more work! LOVE you guys.

Thanks, my gorgeous Maria! We’ve tried to choose enough variety of things that everyone can afford to get something!
