Tonight was a stormy one, with icy rain blowing sideways, so we stayed in and had our little annual pumpkin-carving party of two. This has become a time-honoured tradition lasting… well… since last Halloween… when I was visiting Maria and “meeting the parents” in California (yes, it was significantly warmer). On that momentous day under Angie’s direction we carved our pumpkin to life to the tune of traditional Christmas jingles, so this year we did some research and decided on a goofy pumpkin style we like to the tune of Michael Buble’s new holiday hits. And there the creature is.

Hope you had some warm cider or hot chocolate and other goodies too! Enjoy the winter weather! I’m missing it here in Iraq (we’ve broken out the jackets – that means 70s-80s during the day, and 60s in the evenings…).
