Hello and welcome! I'm a Californian Romantic who met her "Gilbert" from Prince Edward Island through missionary work, fell in love, quit law school to move to the Island and got married, all within the year. Five years later with 2 more in tow, our little family moved back to California to chase our dreams! Then five years later we packed up our lives again into the same minivan (this time with 4 in tow) and moved halfway across the country to freedom-loving Oklahoma where we now lovingly call home. Here we're putting down roots, going back to tradition, learning to homestead, continuing to homeschool, and eagerly learning lost skills and arts of slow-living and cooking while raising our growing family deeply grounded in faith. We are culturally American, Canadian, Korean and Irish. We are Catholics, musicians, creatives, foodies and connoisseurs of craft beer, but most of all we are soulmates, and Umma and Appa to our children. Here you'll find us sharing everything from our daily adventures in family life, holistic non-toxic lifestyle, hacks that make parenthood easier, our journey towards a wholesome lifestyle, party and gift inspirations, home-friendly tech, a few reflections on faith, and the myriad of adventures life throws at us!
